New Blue Screen

This series draws upon the conceptual framework of Alvin Lucier's "I Am Sitting in a Room" while engaging with the technologies of public access television of the '80's and '90's to create videos in which embodied performance blur temporal and spacial boundaries while exploiting the inherent visual aesthetics of VHS degradation and qualitative limitation.
